Student Leadership & Learning

The Venture: Entrepreneurial Innovation High School Program prepares students for the rigor of competition by encouraging them to think creatively and challenge traditional business models. It invites entrepreneurs to present innovative concepts, business proposals, and products or services designed to transform industries. Students will participate in activities aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of the biblical perspective on entrepreneurship, recognizing it as a uniquely human ability that can be used to serve others and further God’s kingdom. Biblical entrepreneurship requires innovative thinking, self-sacrifice, godly wisdom, patience, and a commitment to do all for the glory of God.

This program includes all the teacher/student materials needed to successfully implement this program within your existing curriculum, including:

  • Venture: Entrepreneurial Innovation High School Module
  • Teacher Implementation Guide
  • Retrieval practice to help students make connections in their learning
  • Implementation Timeline
  • Biblical Worldview Implementation Guide

Student Outcomes:

  • Design and Develop an Innovative Product or Service: Utilize marketing and entrepreneurial skills to create a unique product or service.
  • Establish a Startup Business: Develop a comprehensive business model for a product or service that encompasses the key elements of a successful startup.
  • Deliver a Compelling Business Pitch: Present a persuasive business idea that attracts investment and support from potential stakeholders.

International Venture: Entrepreneurial Innovation High School Challenge:   
Any ACSI member school that completes the Venture: Entrepreneurial Innovation High School Program will be invited to register their top two teams to compete in the International Venture: Entrepreneurial Innovation High School Challenge, where they will compete digitally against other high school teams from across the globe.

During the first stage of this challenge, your school’s top two high school teams will pitch their innovative business ideas to a distinguished VIP panel through a digital communications platform. Notifications with instructions for registering for the virtual stage of this challenge will be emailed on September 20, 2024. You must register your top two high school teams by Monday, February 1, 2025. This digital competition will be held on February 18-19, 2025, with winners notified no later than February 21, 2025.

The winning teams from the first stage of the challenge, the digital competition, will be invited to pitch their business ideas in person on the campus of Grand Canyon University on April 4-5, 2025. Invitations to register for this stage of the competition will be sent to the winning teams on February 21, 2025, and teams must register by March 3, 2025.
